Senior Dental Care

Senior Dental Care is Unique

As our bodies age, so do our teeth and gums. Years of plaque buildup, as well as the consumption of coffee, tea, or tobacco, can darken the teeth. Be sure to ask us about procedures that can combat these issues. Reduced saliva flow can be a side effect of medications. There are simple products that can be used to help this condition. Your fillings are aging as well. They can weaken or crack over time. Regular check-ups will allow us to monitor your existing fillings. Gum disease and root decay can be serious problems with seniors. Daily brushing and good nutrition are recommended to maintain healthy gums. If your gums become inflamed or bleed, or your teeth loosen, contact us immediately.
